PAINT MIXING ROOM
Mixing and storing paint releases potentially harmful vapors into the air. Offered in several airflow configurations, EPA’s paint mixing rooms guarantee a safe and clean working environment for your operators by supplying fresh air throughout the enclosure at all times. Among other features, these environments prevent VOCs and other unwanted contaminants from interfering with the mixing process.
Designed to provide well-illuminated and ventilated work areas for mixing and storage applications, air is drawn through a filtered ceiling intake plenum (pressurized or non-pressurized) and vapors are continuously pulled away from workers then safely exhausted into the atmosphere. Spill containment is also provided with either raised door thresholds, or grate-covered 4” pits. Built in a variety of sizes, rooms can be integrated into most finishing system designs, or installed as stand-alone units. Paint mixing and storage rooms are designed to meet or exceed NFPA 33 and are ETL Listed.
